An 18-inch TV display that you can roll up like a newspaper

LG showed off it's latest innovations in OLED and LCD technology at CES 2016. One the most remarkable pieces of tech the company showcased was a truly futuristic concept.

An 18-inch OLED TV that be bent, warped and rolled up like a newspaper!

LG's super thin rollable TV was created to highlight the dynamic forms OLED displays can achieve. While the footage on the stationary display wasn't terribly high-res at 810x1200, the flexibility of the material made for a truly unique viewing experience.

Unfortunately, this rollable TV won't be available for purchase anytime in the near future. In it's current state the product / technology is to delicate and to unaffordable be mass-produced for customers. But the trend of lighter and more portable devices and screens is bound to continue and the company is clearly moving in that direction.

LG's super thin rollable TV isn't really refined yet, but it does offer a glimpse into the future of TVs.
